Ive got another tip, the plug off a VL/Skyline RB30 distributor is the same as the photoelectric 2.6L dizzy, it plugs right on. Ditto for the Throttle Position Switches connector. Not sure on the AFS as i didnt have on with me to check on the weekend. I found out by accident, i had the motor loaded up in the ute that i was swappin for the latest Piazza i got, i just happened to park next to my Uncles spare parts VL. I got nosey.
Yeah so dont stress if you dont get the plug and wiring with the Dizzy.
Actually that poses a question, youd think the CA20 would have the same plugs as the RB30 both being nissan, i wounder if you pluged in a 4ZE1 to a CA20 computer would it fire???? Is the CA18 the same wiring plugs as a CA20?? If so the loom for an after market ECU for a CA18DET would plug straight in. Or an after market loom for an RB30 minus two injectors.
Cheers. Bob.
