I have an 86 Impulse manual and it only covers the G200Z too. Would have to be a supplementary manual. Maybe an 88/89 manual would cover the turbo? Since they no longer made them with a G200Z then.

The silvery oil is probably aluminium, the original box on mine was like that. One of the shift forks had broken off on one side and got munched up.

The black wire is tacho, it comes off the coil neg and splits off into two connections to the wiring harness. One is for the boost control computer & ECU, the other is for the tacho.

Yeah the Gemini manual rack is secured laterally by both bushes, dunno why they wouldn't do it with this one.

Superglue works really well on rubber, should probably work on polyurethane too. I can try it on something here.

Not sure how you'd go welding shims to the side of it could be a bit messy. I'd just buy some steel the right width and thickness and bend one from scratch.

The left bush is fine, that one doesn't provide any lateral support. I only made a mould for the right side bush.

Another option might be if you can find some 1mm rubber sheet you could glue some to each side of the bush to widen it.

Archangel tried them and they were too narrow on his, just copied off the factory ones which are also too narrow. I think he fixed it by splitting the steel bracket and widening it. You're right with so much material on that lower front bush the NVH is ok. Felt fine to me. However I hadn't changed the other bushes though as they were still ok.
